Precision alignment is the placing two shaft ends together so as to not cause vibration wear to the coupler and seals, as well as the drive and driven bearings. Precision alignment will:
- Keep equipment from failing before its normal lifecycle.
- Eliminate secondary damage to drive and driven equipment.
